Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for all customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any other store-related matters
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and company procedures

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience beneficial
