Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, cashiering, and ensuring the store's overall appearance. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Follow company policies, maintain security and confidentiality of data, and perform other assigned duties

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Educational and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
