Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize financial losses
  • Follow company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and ensure data security
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently
  • Compliance with state and local alcohol handling laws (if applicable)

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
