Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Follow all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Safe handling of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for working independently and collaboratively.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
