Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and inventory issues.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate store equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
