Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness and organization. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) behaviors.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide superior customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management.
  • Report product and inventory issues to management and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and uphold store security.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work at ALDI.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of the role, including stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with retail experience as a bonus.
