Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams, and ensuring cost efficiency in construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction documents and an educational background in construction, architecture, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Provide divisions with current pricing data and practices for consistent pricing.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis and reports to support project award decisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in construction documents and proposals.
• Review and approve contract pricing and monitor market pricing for critical trades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, RS Means software, and construction cost indices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
