Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As a key player in our goal to become a leading grocery retailer, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national scale, collaborating with regional real estate teams, and ensuring that projects stay within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Analyze construction bids and provide detailed reports to aid in selecting qualified bidders.
• Monitor pricing data and market trends to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative construction practices.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to enhance construction cost control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and pricing data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
