Job Description

The Construction Account Executive at BluSky is responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities by developing cost estimates for restoration, renovation, and roofing services for commercial, industrial, government, and residential properties affected by disasters. The role involves revenue oversight, profit margin management, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales and estimating proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and negotiation for all services provided by BluSky
  • Revenue production management in line with monthly goals
  • Profit margin development and project budget oversight
  • Accounts receivable and collections process management
  • Business development activities and client communication
  • Estimating project costs accurately and ensuring target margins
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent communication
  • Working and coordinating with internal teams for successful project completion

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry
  • Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience
  • Strong project management and financial knowledge required
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
  • Xactimate and estimating software experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
