CNC Operator 1

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator 1 to join our Diamond Turning department at Rochester Precision Optics LLC. As part of our team, you will operate and set up high-precision machining centers to create optical surfaces, and work with CNC programming to ensure accuracy and quality in our products. If you have experience in toolmaking, CNC operation, and a keen eye for detail, this role may be a perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup diamond turning/grinding machining centers.
• Create and modify CNC programs.
• Work with optical and traditional inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Demonstrate good computer skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in toolmaking/machining.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
