Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Development Lead for Solid Tumor Oncology focusing on Biliary Tract Cancer (BTC) and Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma (GEA). This pivotal role involves leading late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset for BTC and GEA, overseeing the Clinical Development strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing clinical trials, analyzing data, managing risks, fostering external collaborations, and optimizing budget and resources. The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience in successfully leading the development of Solid Tumor Oncology assets, a proven track record in leading and developing high-performance clinical teams, and exemplary executive presence to communicate complex insights effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Oncology clinical development programs.
- Develop and execute comprehensive global clinical development plans for Oncology assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical development programs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and timely submissions.
- Oversee clinical trials, monitor data quality, and patient safety.
- Analyze clinical trial data, interpret results, and manage risks.
- Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborative partners.
- Manage budget allocation and resource planning for clinical development programs.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience with successful development of Solid Tumor Oncology assets.
- Experience in leading and developing high performing clinical teams.
- Executive presence to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- MD required, Board certified Oncologist preferred.
- Experience in solid tumor oncology, such as BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers, preferred.
