Business Development Executive
Environmental Health & Engineering, Inc., a leader in Commissioning, Engineering, and Energy services, is looking for a talented Market Executive to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Market Executive will be responsible for new client/new business development within the designated Market Vertical. The role involves working closely with the Managing Principal Consultant to identify opportunities, stay informed on industry trends, and achieve specified sales targets.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Originate and close new business by developing client relationships.
- Develop sales forecasts and maintain accountability for goal achievement.
- Enhance cross-selling strategies and client value propositions.
- Participate in tradeshows, associations, and professional groups to showcase company capabilities.
- Mentor staff in business development techniques and foster a culture of solution-oriented approaches.
- Proactively manage resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with teams to align corporate solutions with customer needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and cultivate channel partner relationships.
- Additional cross-functional responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in Consulting Services.
- Proven experience in consultative sales.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency to connect and close deals.
- Ability to anticipate needs, provide solution packages, and travel regionally/overnight.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
