Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management by overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. You will also lead a team, identify training opportunities, and uphold company values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
  • Lead and provide guidance to direct reports, setting expectations for job responsibilities and performance.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to maintain the store's competitive position.
  • Participate in the hiring process and provide ongoing communication with the team.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Stay organized, detailed-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
