Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing store operations, managing schedules, developing action plans, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, providing leadership to team members, maintaining inventory controls, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding company policies and procedures.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance product offerings
• Supervise day-to-day store operations and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising standards, and proper stock levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18
• Experience in retail management preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with budgeting and personnel management principles
