Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with store management, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring overall store performance. You will play a key role in developing operational plans, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify and provide training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations for product selection.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
- Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
- Ensure customer service excellence and resolve operational issues.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
- Prior retail management experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
