Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing store activities, developing operational plans, training and growing the team, and ensuring overall store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance store positioning.
• Participate in the interviewing process and ensure inventory and cash control compliance.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and product merchandising.
• Supervise team operations and ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
• Operational and cash register experience.
• High school diploma preferred with at least 3 years of retail experience.
