Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to grow the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment to maintain the company's position.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and customer service standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
