Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment to maintain the company's position.
  • Provide product feedback and recommendations.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and customer service standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.
