Application Modernization Brand Sales Specialist- Midwest

Job Description

We are looking for an Application Modernization Brand Sales Specialist to join IBM's vibrant team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for selling IBM's Cloud Pak for Integration, Cloud Pak for Applications, and DevSecOps solutions into the market. Your primary focus will be on driving sales activities, exceeding targets, and expanding IBM's cloud software & services within associated industries. You will work closely with other client-facing teams to create and qualify opportunities while delivering high-value solutions to clients. Successful candidates will showcase expertise in cloud technologies, customer problem-solving, and pipeline generation.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales activities to achieve financial objectives within assigned territory.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities, working with cross-functional teams.
• Develop business cases and articulate value propositions to customers.
• Generate high-quality leads using various techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in direct customer selling, especially in cloud software or SaaS solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT operations, DevOps, Enterprise Integration, and related verticals.
• Prior experience with cloud solutions and leading complex deals.
• Proven success in creating and managing sales pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions.
• Experience with tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, MuleSoft, etc.
• Expertise in value-based selling and ROI models.
