Job Description
We are an established Real Estate Management Company looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable activities for all entities under Commonwealth's supervision. Responsibilities
- Sort and enter rent checks on ledgers
- Scan rent checks into the bank system
- Perform bank reconciliation for all Commonwealth-managed accounts
- Scan and reconcile bills, including Visa statements for cardholders
- Assist in internal audits relating to accounting and administrative controls
- Occasionally handle accounts payable duties, including bill payments
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a high school diploma, one to two years of accounting experience, or a relevant combination of education and experience. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.
