Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our expanding team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will play a crucial role in managing, guiding, and optimizing the loading/unloading of freight while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, especially regarding hazardous materials handling.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve department goals and uphold company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in transportation or service center operations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques and regulations.
