3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the warehouse management team, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and modify daily work schedules based on warehouse needs.
• Coordinate and supervise job activities of direct reports for efficient operations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Collaborate with other operational areas to optimize warehouse functions.
• Provide input to the Warehouse Operations Manager for operational improvements.
• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Lead and conduct Warehouse Associate meetings.
• Train and develop direct reports for maximum performance and motivation.
• Supervise storage, sanitation, and safety practices in the warehouse.
• Manage expenses, inventory, and payroll adjustments as needed.
• Address warehouse issues and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a warehouse team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to interpret operating policies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, lift and move heavy items, and stay organized.
