3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join Aldi's team in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily work schedules, coordinating tasks, monitoring deliveries, improving operating results, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations. Additionally, you will lead and develop warehouse personnel, promote a safe working environment, manage expenses, and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
• Coordinate job activities and tasks of direct reports.
• Oversee receiving, selection, and shipping of products.
• Monitor processes for compliance with guidelines.
• Develop action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Interact effectively with peers and other departments.
• Provide input and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Manage controllable expenses and inventory efficiently.
• Lead Warehouse Associate meetings and train team members.
• Supervise timely and accurate storage of products and equipment.
• Address warehouse issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Monitor and rectify hazards to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to manage warehouse operations effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to evaluate performance and motivate team members.
• Knowledge of ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
