2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our ideal candidate will thrive in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas and will contribute to maintaining warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities and assist management in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious work ethic, collaboration with the team, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, including outdoor and refrigerator/freezer environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
