Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our warehouse operations team at Aldi. As a stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week at a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, following our comprehensive training and safety program to uphold the highest standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse appearance standards, safety, and cleanliness.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide feedback for process improvements and adhere to company policies.
- Inspect product quality and address any safety or sanitation concerns.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and work both independently and within a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and safely operate industrial equipment.
