1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the Aldi team. As a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks such as stock selection, product handling, shipment preparation, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards through general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and peers.
• Provide input for process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation adherence.
• Operate equipment safely and follow established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in task execution.
• Physical capability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
