Job Description
Join the Aldi team as a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member! Our warehouse operations ensure that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, completing various warehouse tasks to support our daily operations.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and ensure sanitation standards.
- Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate industrial equipment.
