1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our organization, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse following guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Interact cooperatively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
