1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. As a part-time team member, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Our comprehensive training and safety program will equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Organize and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Achieve budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
