1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered for our customers. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively, and have the physical capability to handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as needed according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards through general cleaning.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow established procedures.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work independently or as a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and prepare for delivery.
• Perform various physical tasks in a range of temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
