1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a critical part of our operations, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties to ensure the smooth flow of goods and maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Participate in warehouse cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
• Execute all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and carry items throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
