1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment, as well as unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines and follow ergonomic programs.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and demonstrate positive attitude and resilience.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
