1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise in our warehouse. You will collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership, contribute to process improvements, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock effectively for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment preparation.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report product quality and safety concerns.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
