Job Description
We are looking for a part-time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our dedicated warehouse team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, providing essential support to our growing customer base. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments, offering a dynamic workplace for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock with efficiency to fulfill store orders.
- Handle merchandise relocation following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Execute general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
- Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance under delegated responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues or concerns to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
