1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. In this role, you will be a vital part of our warehouse operations, ensuring products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to our success through hard work and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Acts competencies: Demonstrates concern for quality, collaborates with the team, adapts positively to challenges, drives for success, organizes with efficiency.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
