1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi, a leading retail company. The position offers the opportunity to work 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on shift differentials. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including selecting and receiving stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and assisting with inventory counts.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and assist with inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
