1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, participating in warehouse inventory counts, maintaining warehouse appearance, and cooperating with team members and warehouse leadership. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment; unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide suggestions for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Work independently within designated responsibilities to achieve warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with guidelines.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently following company policies.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
