1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide suggestions for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals set by warehouse management.
• Operate equipment safely and report any product or safety issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and maintain efficiency.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate equipment.
