Job Description
We are currently looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers up to $26.75 per hour and involves efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. As an integral part of our warehouse operations, you will collaborate with your peers and warehouse leadership to improve processes and meet budgeted goals.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
- Maintain warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning duties.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and report any concerns to warehouse management.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
