1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This Full-Time position offers competitive starting wages ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise. You will also be responsible for maintaining warehouse cleanliness, participating in inventory counts, and collaborating effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic and company procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
