Job Description
We are currently seeking full-time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise for shipments.
- Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards through general cleaning.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality and report issues to management.
- Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must be 18 years of age or older and demonstrate key competencies such as conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, success orientation, and efficiency. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to interpret company policies, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments.
- Stand, bend, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
