1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise as per guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, maintaining warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and achieve budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines for operating equipment and report any issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, safety, collaboration, and resilience.
• Ability to adapt to change, work independently, and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Prepare merchandise for deliveries and operate industrial equipment.
• Perform various physical tasks in different temperature environments.
