1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our expanding team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and performing general warehouse duties to allow our stores to meet our customers' demands effectively.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in line with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
