1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Provide input for process improvement and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious work ethic and teamwork.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
