1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a package handler, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment within the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Assist in achieving warehouse budget goals and suggest process improvements.
• Operate equipment safely and report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaborative teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
