1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a vital role in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. As part of our dedicated team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving comprehensive training to excel in your role.

Starting Wage

$23.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Independently carry out assigned tasks within responsibilities.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
