1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Starting Wage: Up to $19.50 - $23.50 per hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)
Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00AM start time

• Schedule B

Schedules:
• Schedule A1: Requires working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off each week.
• Schedule A2: Requires working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday off each week.
• Schedule B: Requires working both Saturday and Sunday 2 out of every 3 weeks. When scheduled to work on Saturday and Sunday, 2 consecutive weekdays will be scheduled off. Schedule B is a three-week rotating schedule.
• Schedule C: Requires working both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend. When scheduled to work on Saturday and Sunday, 2 weekdays will be scheduled off. Schedule C is a four-week rotating schedule.
• Schedule D: Requires working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with Saturday and Sunday off each week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocates merchandise in the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, loads, and unloads merchandise for shipment.
• Performs general cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Collaborates with team and provides input for process improvements.
• Inspects product quality and safety.
• Acts independently within the area of responsibility.
• Assists in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follows safety guidelines and notifies management of issues.
• Performs all tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operates equipment safely and reports any concerns.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Adapts positively to challenges and change.
• Demonstrates efficiency, organization, and adherence to standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
